Cultivating personal relationships with lawmakers is critical to protecting and promoting dentistry’s influence at the State Capitol. The Tennessee Dental PAC is seeking member dentists interested in playing an active role in advocacy and government relations with the goal of pairing every state legislator with one or more TDA contact dentists. Contact dentists may already have existing relationships with individual lawmakers, or may be willing to connect with their legislator on behalf of the TDA.
The TDA calls upon legislative contact dentists to assist with the hand delivery of contribution checks to state lawmakers. This responsibility is limited to once or twice per year, with the possibility of additional contributions during election seasons.
